Das Logo of the Section Phycology decorates all certificates.

The Section awards  Prizes to young scientists to further their careers: the E. G. Pringsheim-Prize for outstanding PhD research, as well as the Biomaris Student Prize for an outstanding Diploma, Bachelor or Masters Thesis.
